Terrorism
Hollywood and Post-Boston ‘Xenophobia’
As much as liberals had their fingers crossed after the Boston Marathon bombings – please don’t let it be a Muslim, please don’t let it be a Muslim – that’s who the terrorists were. All that wishing and hoping is based on the very ugly premise that “middle America” is a cesspool of bigotry and hate, a sentiment shared by Muslim terrorists.
Ed Markey: foolish on Benghazi. Foolish on the Boston Marathon bombing, too?

Tech at Night: Stand up to the gangs and pass CISPA. Obama nominates a new FCC chairman.
We're still at war online, guys. The Chinese are scouting us and even criminal enterprise is under constant attack. And make no mistake DDoS attacks affect not just the target, but the networks surrounding the target, too, so even a criminal racket like Silk Road should have attacks on it stopped, for the health of American networks. And again, the anarchists SWATted a member of Congress, Mike Rogers, to fight for weaker security online.
Yet, The President and Democrats continue to obstruct CISPA, instead of getting the job done. This guy made illegal executive orders on the topic, but as soon as we take good, light-regulatory legislative action, he suddenly wants to slam on the brakes. Shameful.

The Boston Boneheads II – Things That Make Me Lose Faith In Most of Humanity
Good morning, @davidaxelrod. Could you tell us some more about your “tax day” theory? #BostonMarathon #Watertown — Jim Treacher (@jtLOL) April 19, 2013(Ht: Daily Caller)
I wasn’t quite sure how I’d go about taking NPR’s Dina Temple-Raston’s advice and celebrate Hitler’s Birthday this year. I thought about baking cupcakes and holding a polka-dance. It’s suitably outdated for a humble right-wing reactionary like moi’ – but somehow it just wouldn’t work. And then a funny thing happened on the way to the media-circus.
It seems David Sirota should be jubilant this morning. He wanted and I mean really wanted the Boston Marathon Bombers to be Caucasian – and boy did he get his wish!* They’re from Chechnya even, and boy are they into that old-time religion. Oh, wait…wrong one as you can see in the film below.

Salon Magazine And White Males
The smartest, most literate, most influential minds of America have something mordant and deeply wrong infecting the core of their souls. No publication epitomizes this sarcoma more completely than Salon Magazine. Salon Magazine’s commentary following the Boston Marathon Terror Bombing provides further evidence that America’s most well-educated and carefully trained minds are in the midst of the iniquitous process of turning our nation into just the sort of evil we used to stand up and fight.
Just as every INGSOC needs a Goldstein; every Progressive needs a good Boogeyman to make the proletariat perform another idiot dance. Salon Magazine wants a good, stereotypical, White Male. They would even prefer a Bible-believing Christian if available. They hope the Boston Marathon bomber is a !WHITE! American. Like all good Progressives, they have another racial quota to fill. Bigotry worthy of Reverend Al Sharpton follows below.
“White privilege is knowing that even if the bomber turns out to be white, no one will call for your group to be profiled as terrorists as a result, subjected to special screening or threatened with deportation,” writes author Tim Wise. “White privilege is knowing that if this bomber turns out to be white, the United States government will not bomb whatever corn field or mountain town or stale suburb from which said bomber came, just to ensure that others like him or her don’t get any ideas. And if he turns out to be a member of the Irish Republican Army we won’t bomb Dublin. And if he’s an Italian-American Catholic we won’t bomb the Vatican.”

Tech at Night: What goes around, comes around for Sprint. Hey Chuck Grassley: Everybody knows you never go full Biden.
Justice is impeding the Sprint/Softbank merger. Gee, whoever could have predicted that if Sprint funded the left-wing effort to embolden Obama antitrust action, then Sprint itself could suffer bad consequences? I wonder. It wasn't me, was it? I didn't point out that Sprint Nextel itself had a history of mergers, such as the Sprint-Nextel merger, did I? Hmm.
Hey Chuck Grassley: The first amendment is not a suggestion any more than the second amendment is. There is no Video Game exception that I saw. You'd have to be as special as the Vice President to think think citing the words of a crazed murderer as an authority helps you make a point, anyway.
Besides, it is not your job to dictate 'artistic value' to others, nor does your own job have 'artistic value.' So if you would silence others who do not have 'artistic value,' then that do we conclude about your right to speech? Everybody knows you never go full Biden, Senator.

Crude Coverage
The media are awash with historical flashbacks. Is this the worst economy since the Great Depression? Or is it a repeat of ’70s-era financial woes? For the most part, the comparisons have been less than accurate. But there’s one the media have missed: an old villain from the ’70s causing Americans grief over oil and gas.
